ACE offers various CAD related services.  The use of Solidworks, AutoCAD, Cadkey, and Fastsurf gives ACE a broad set of tools to implement these services. 

 

Some of the CAD services we offer are:

 

   - Part blueprints.  Including BOM, assembly,

     and detail views.  Sizes range from A-E.

 

   - Create process sheets or diagrams.

 

   - Convert 2D drawings in 3D CAD Models

 

   - Create inspection mylars for optical

     comparators.

 

   - Convert CAD files into different formats. 

     We support Solidworks (SLDPRT),

     AutoCAD (DWG), DXF, IGES, STEP,

     Unigraphics (PRT), ParaSolid, ACIS (SAT),

     VDA, VRML, STL, Catia (CGR), ProE,

     Inventor, Solid Edge, and Cadkey.

 

   - Create solid models of gears.

 

   - Create pictorials for Strata Pictorials.

 

   - Create 2D and 3D normal vector VDA files

     for KUM and Calypso Curve.

 

   - Create parameterized family tables for your

     family of parts.

 

The picture shown is the conversion of a 2D drawing into a solid model.  This was done to allow product testing before any real cranks were available.
